Solar System Activities For Kids

The Arts Centre is fortunate to have volunteers that help us offer activities for kids about space. Joe Marohnic is an amature Ontario Astronomer, and enjoys sharing his passion for the stars with kids astronomy activities and late-night star-gazing.

Joe's astronomy pictures and photographs are astonishing.  His love of photography and amature atronomy leave a legacy of the most recent celestial events, such as the beautiful images of Haley's Comet and Northern Lights in our Photo Gallery.

The Centre has slowly been collecting contacts for group outings on clear evenings to look at the stars and planets. Not only are you encouraged to get under the stars, you are encouraged to share and learn from each other.
